Giant Pacific Mantas, migrate every year to the World Heritage Revillagigedo Archipelago commonly referred as the Socorro Islands. Manta encounters are magical. These friendly shark species grow to be 7 meter wide and will come close to divers to interact, seeking belly rubs and to feel the massage divers air regulators provide. Although thats not the only sea creature these islands are a magnet for. You may find yourself eye to eye with Humpback whales, False Killer whales, Dolphins, Whales Sharks, Silky, White Tip, Sliver Tip, Black Tip, Dusky, Galapagos, Scalloped Hammerheads and Tiger Sharks, etc... The marine reserve is truly a big animal play ground that nature has given us to treasure and ENOY!

Yes this is an intermediate diving trip. You will need to be open water certificated. Have in mind that we will be exposed to choppy water conditions and strong currents (which attract the abundant pelagic life). However we are here to help and Alistair Barradell team leader will be on every dive with you!
We will typically do 4 dives per day, diving the best sites at Socorro Island, Roca Partida and San Benedicto, but you do not have to do all the dives.
No but this encounter is practically guaranteed. Alistair has been diving this site for the past 5 years at least 10 times per year and has never failed to see a Giant Pacific Manta on one of his trips.
Equipment is not included in the price for the trip (except tanks, belts and weights) however we can help arrange scuba gear rental. If you require dive equipment please let us know as soon as possible(minimum one week notice before trip).
Yes, bring as much as you like but drinking alcohol is only permitted after your last dive of day.
